The SR and SR 2.0 trims are the lineup’s sporty offerings and are perfect for anyone who wants a little more excitement behind the wheel. Starting at $27,490 MSRP, the SR trim comes standard with sport-tuned suspension, paddle shifters, and 19-inch wheels. The SR 2.0 trim is also available with the optional VC-Turbo engine and adds ProPILOT Assist. It'll set you back $34,990 MSRP, but it's worth the extra money.
Technology
The S base model comes standard with a 5-inch touch-screen infotainment system and LED headlights with automatic high beams. You also get a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, and one USB-A port.
If you want a little more out of your infotainment system, you might want to consider upgrading to the SV trim level, which comes with an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system. This system includes all the base model's features, plus satellite radio, navigation, Wi-Fi, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
You can also upgrade to the SL trim level with a nine-speaker Bose premium audio system and a 12-inch touch-screen display. The SR and SR 2.0 models also boast a 12-inch touch-screen display that's perfect for those who want the ultimate in infotainment and technology.

If you opt for all-wheel drive, that number drops slightly to 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. Paired exclusively to front-wheel drive, the upgraded 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine is only available on the SR 2.0 trim level and produces 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane fuel.
All four trim levels come standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission, which helps to optimize fuel economy. Speaking of fuel economy, the Nissan Altima gets an EPA-estimated 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive 2.5-liter models. If you opt for all-wheel drive, those numbers drop slightly to 26 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. The more powerful turbocharged engine returns 25 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
